Solar parks for Nordic conditions

At Procons, we have developed ground-mounted structures for building sustainable solar parks. We deliver easy-to-assemble, reliable modules engineered in Finland. Compared to competing products, our sturdy modules are weather-resistant and adaptable to most ground conditions. They also eliminate the need for concrete.

We use European steel to build the modules at the Procons factory in Malax (Maalahti) on the west coast of Finland, where we have produced quality steel since 1934.

The modules can be adjusted to the size and terrain of the solar park. They are well suited to Nordic conditions where changeable weather and varying ground conditions are challenging.

Environmentally friendly, flexible and cost-effective

Procons structures are revolutionary because they use existing ground material, or crushed stone, to support solar panels for 30 years. Since we have been able to eliminate concrete, a well-known climate villain, our structures are better for the environment.

The structures are also much lighter than many competing products for smoother and more cost-effective transportation. On-site assembly is swift since the modules are close to completion when they leave the factory.

Klas-Erik West: "We have reduced the time required for on-site assembly to ensure that the weather is no obstacle. All you need to complete the assembly work is two types of bolts. No screws, no blocks." 

The Procons structures are fully compliant with European building regulations and the Eurocodes. Our pending patent extends across the whole European market.
